Welcome to Highland, Indiana’s Santa Walk & Run!

The Santa Walk & Run will be in Hobart on December 7th and in Crown Point on December 21st.

This is a non-timed event for both athletes and non-athletes, the Santa Walk & Run is about spreading holiday cheer as Santas in full Santa outfits (or Santa hats or other holiday wear) walk or run through town.

“Clauses for Causes” – VOTE for Your Favorite NW IN Charity:

Have a favorite local charity, school or church? Each participant can vote for their favorite local organization. The Top charities with the most votes will benefit from the event.

The Course:

A 5K Run and a 1 mile walk on the streets through town.  This event will showcase the best of what Highland has to offer, including it’s downtown, its parks and bike trail.

Your Entry Fee Includes:

  • Refreshments and live entertainment after the event.
  • Costume Contests! Whether it’s a full Santa suit or other holiday wear, prizes will be awarded for the best costumes!
  • A visit with Santa Claus!
  • Casting your vote for your favorite charity

With Special Musical Guest “Bowman & Rose”!  Dennis Bowman and Jodi Rosenthal from HGS Music in Highland and Crown Point will be providing Christmas music before and after the event.

Cost:

Cost is $15 for adults/$10 for kids (12 and under). Cotton shirts NOT included in the entry fee and are an additional $7 through Sunday, December 9th.  A limited number of shirts will be available at the event for $10.  Online registration will be available soon.

Race day cost is $20 for all ages.

If an event is canceled due to extreme weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances, this site will stay updated and the money collected (after expenses) will benefit the top charities.
