Santa Walk & Run – Hobart

Welcome to Hobart, Indiana’s Santa Walk & Run!

Following the path along Lake George, Hobart’s Santa Walk & Run will be our most beautiful course!

Please join us for our other Santa Walk & Runs in Highland on December 14th and in Crown Point on December 21st.  Participants who do all 3 will receive a special Christmas present!

A non-timed event for both athletes and non-athletes, the Santa Walk & Run is about spreading holiday cheer as Santas in full Santa outfits (or Santa hats or other holiday wear) walk or run through town.

“Clauses for Causes” – VOTE for Your Favorite NW IN Charity:  

Have a favorite local charity, school or church? Each participant can vote for their favorite local organization. The Top charities with the most votes will benefit from the event.

Come out and support the Hobart YMCA, the Hobart Police K-9 Unit  or any of the deserving local charities.

The Course:

This 5K Run and a 1 mile will start from the Hobart Community Center, follow the path along beautiful Lake George and onto the streets around town.

Your Entry Fee Includes:

  • Refreshments and live entertainment after the event.
  • Costume Contests! Whether it’s a full Santa suit or other holiday wear, prizes will be awarded for the best costumes!
  • Casting your vote for your favorite charity

Special Musical Guest Ashleigh Ashton!

The Hobart Santa Walk & Run is proud to welcome Ashleigh Ashton as our musical guest.  Ashleigh recorded her first album at the age of 15 and was recently featured in a national T-Mobile commercial.  She has also worked with the director of “Glee”, Alfonso Gomez-Reyon.

Cost:

Cost is $15 for adults/$10 for kids (12 and under). Cotton shirts NOT included in the entry fee.  Pre-ordering of shirts has ended.  A limited number of shirts will be available at the event for $10.  Online registration will be available soon.

Race day cost is $20 for all ages.

If an event is canceled due to extreme weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances, this site will stay updated and the money collected (after expenses) will benefit the top charities.
