Our Goal: To support small, local businesses while giving our guests a unique shopping experience.
— Hometown Markets LIMIT the number of vendors in your category! This way, we don’t have 22 vendors selling clay jewelry and ALL our vendors have a better opportunity for making sales.
— Hometown Markets do NOT nickel and dime our vendors – no extra fees for electricity or other added fees.
— Hometown Markets let you DRIVE in to the building for easier setup and take-down.
— Hometown Markets often have a BUILT IN audience! We will couple our Markets with our races. The Mother’s Day Market and Flying Turkey Market will each have 1,000+ guests in addition to the general public.
— Hometown Markets personally cares for our vendors during the events, stopping by with water & breakfast bars as well as watching booths when possible to give our vendors bathroom breaks.
— Hometown Markets regularly offer booth contests for CASH prizes (or free booths) or treasure hunts among the vendors to increase interaction between the vendors & our guests.
— Hometown Markets have characters (princesses, witches, etc) who will interact with guests at your booth, making it a memory for everyone. Our markets are for everyone in the family – moms, kids and dads!
— Hometown Markets PAYS for ads that will often include YOUR business so that you are included in the promotions for upcoming markets.
— Hometown Markets shares tips with our vendors on how to increase their sales, not only at our markets, but elsewhere as well!
— Hometown Markets has a well-moderated private facebook group to share information about the markets and updates for the season. We also send out weekly emails before a Market to keep our vendors updated. Our vendors are always well informed.
— Hometown Markets are LOCALLY owned. Like you – we have an investment in our community and are not a traveling market based in another city that travels to other towns or cities, or travels throughout the state or Midwest.
— Hometown Markets is community focused. You will see many community organizations represented including Buddy Bags, the Humane Society of Hobart and St. Jude House. Part of our mission is to showcase those doing good in our community and to give back to these community partners.
