Market with 80’s themed treasure hunts among the vendors, karaoke singalongs & movie & tv trivia contests! Shop unique artisan vendors & handcrafted items. Enjoy amazing foods, craft drinks, live music, bounce houses & MORE!

Market Timeline (9am – 2 pm): 
9:00 – 11:00 am – Trolls Treasure Hunt, Guests find trolls hidden among the vendors for a prize
10:00 & 10:45 am – 1980’s karaoke singalong with Princess Harmony
11:00 am – 1:00 pm – Goonies Treasure Hunt, Guests find Baby Ruths hidden among the vendors
11:00 am – Princess Bride Fencing demo
11:45 am & 12:45 pm – 1980’s karaoke singalong with Princess Harmony
1:00 pm -80’s Movie & TV Triiva Contest. Prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place.
1:00 pm – 2;00 pm – Gargamel Smurf Hunt
1:30 pm – 1980’s karaoke singalong with Princess Harmony
Unique & FUN! Along with amazing vendors, the markets regularly features the following:
- Canine Corner: features wolf dogs from Timber Mountain Training Services.
- Cooper’s Bounce House Party! Wristband includes unlimited bouncing in all the bounce houses from Cooper’s Party Rentals!
- Don’t forget the Dads! Yes, we have dude-related vendors including barber services, cigars, woodoworking and more!

What is the Hometown Market? The Hometown Markets are held 8 times a year at the Lake County Fairgrounds. Most of the artisan markets are held inside the Industrial Building which provides a comfortable space year round. In addition, we hold one outdoor market in the summer under roof in the big Show pavilion, also at the Fairgrounds.

Meet Your Hometown Market Manager, Tim! Tim has hosted over 300 events through Hometown Happenings, now in it’s 14th year. While best known for fitness related events, Tim established the Hometown Markets in 2021 as a way of helping local businesses and our community thrive & prosper while provided a fun experience for family and friends to enjoy themselves.
