Join us for the Hometown Hocus Pocus Artisan Market inside the Industrial Building of the Lake County Fairgrounds. Shop unique artisan vendors & handcrafted items. Enjoy amazing foods, craft drinks, live music, bounce houses & MORE!
$5 entry. Kids 12 & under & US Veterans free.
Our Goal: To support small, local businesses while giving our guests a unique shopping experience.
Timeline – Friday, October 30th, 5-9 pm
5:00 – 9:00 pm Market begins in Industrial Bldg
5:00 – 7:00 pm – Trick or Treating among the vendors (while the candy lasts!)
5:30 – 8:00 pm – Hay rides on south end of Market
5:30 – 8:30 pm – Live music with Amy Hicks Duo
5:40 pm – Costume Contests & National Anthem
6:00 pm – Witches in the Woods 5K/2K starts.
7:00 – 8:30 pm – Sanderson Sisters & Glinda & Elphaba at Market!
8:00 pm – Sanderson Sisters & Glinda & Elphaba perform!

10:00 am – Doors open!
9:30 am – 11:30 pm – Trick or Treating among the vendors (while the candy lasts!)
9:30 am – 11:30 pm – Live music with Andre Detti
11:00 am – 2:00 pm – Sanderson Sisters at the Market!
11:30 am, – Sanderson Sisters perform!
12 Noon – 2:00 pm: Live music with John Fister
Unique & FUN! Along with amazing vendors, the markets features the following:
- Canine Corner: features adoptable fur friends from the Humane Society of Hobart looking for their forever home. You may also be greeted by a wolf dog from Timber Mountain Training Services.
- Cooper’s Bounce House Party! $10 wristband includes unlimited bouncing in all the bounce houses from Cooper’s Party Rentals!
- Dad’s Den! Yes, we have a place for dads who might want to kick back & relax on our comfy couches while their wives shop! Or shop one of our dude-related vendors including barber services, cigars, hot sauce & whiskey!

What is the Hometown Market? The Hometown Markets are held 8 times a year at the Lake County Fairgrounds. Most of the artisan markets are held inside the Industrial Building which provides a comfortable space year round. In addition, we hold one outdoor market in the summer under roof in the big Show pavilion, also at the Fairgrounds.

Meet Your Hometown Market Manager, Tim! Tim has hosted over 300 events through Hometown Happenings, now in it’s 14th year. While best known for fitness related events, Tim established the Hometown Markets in 2021 as a way of helping local businesses and our community thrive & prosper while provided a fun experience for family and friends to enjoy themselves.
