Hi Everyone –If you have signed up for the Pajama Run for this Sunday, thank you. If you haven’t, there is still time to beat the $10 increase if you register online before 10 am this Saturday.
Just a few notes for Sunday’s race. Symphony of Crown Point is located at 1555 S. Main across from the high school and behind St. Matthias church. Registration/sign in starts at 8 am. If you ordered a t-shirt, we will have it waiting for you. If you would stilllike one, we will have a limited number available by the DJ after the race.
Please Bring EXTRA dollars as we will have Girl Scouts selling cookies and Let’s Bead Cancer will have a table selling their craft items to support cancer research.
At 8:40, our singer Tiffany Lidster will sing 1 or 2 songs and then the National Anthem. After that, we will proceed across the street to the start/finish line. The course is an out and back and will be marked with signs, chalk arrows on the roads and coursemarshals.
If you signed up for the competitive 5K, this is IMPORTANT! You will finish in a chute and be given a place number. Do NOT leave the shoot until you have given you number to an attendant with a clip board and they have recorded your number. This is what willgive you your time and your place for the awards. Non-competitive runners and walkers do not need to enter the chute. Everyone will receive a finisher’s medal.
After the race:

Costume Contest: $50 cash prize for best “Group” PJ’s. $25 for best “Individual”.
Race award “cupcakes” provided by “Let’s Bead Cancer”.
